Today, Team University was abuzz with festivity as Comorian students gathered to celebrate their country's Independence Day. July 6 marks a significant milestone for the archipelago nation of Comoros, which gained independence from France in 1975. The day serves as a poignant reminder of the nation's journey towards freedom and self-determination.

Guild President Sande John, standing in for the Dean of Students, took the stage to address the crowd and convey heartfelt wishes on this momentous occasion. He emphasized the importance of celebrating diversity and fostering a spirit of inclusivity within the university community.

In attendance were distinguished guests, including faculty members, local dignitaries, and representatives from the Comorian community. The event featured a showcase of traditional music, dance performances, and culinary delights from the island nation, providing attendees with a sensory feast of Comorian culture.

"This day is not just about a historical event; it's about celebrating who we are as a people and cherishing our unique cultural identity," remarked one student, beaming with pride.

As the celebrations unfolded, the spirit of camaraderie and unity filled the air, transcending borders and bringing together individuals from diverse backgrounds in a shared celebration of freedom and heritage.

BISHOP OF MUKONO DIOCESE TO BE WELCOMED AT ST.JAMES GWAFU SEETA CHURCH IN POWER.

In interview with Rev.Kutesa informed us that this crusade was prepared as way of welcoming Rev.Canon Enos Kitto Kagodo in a great honour and in God's spirit on 1st October 2023. "The bishop was consecrated and enthroned as Bishop on 26th February 2023 at St. Philip's and Andrew's Cathedral Mukono." he said.
